The 1950s have got to be one of the fondest model car eras ever known. Big engines that growled, lots of chrome, heavy metal, side pipes and beauty that is still admired by car collectors today. Build and put one of these vintage model car replicas on your shelf to admire for yourself. The fabulous 50s brought us some very fun times and cars. My father owned a 1955 Ford Thunderbird similar to the model pictured, left. This is one of the most popular cars of collectors today and would probably be worth a lot of money had my Dad only been able to keep it.
